Saw always warned her of this, of loyalty to something other than the cause. Perhaps that is why he left her behind, the only kindness he knew how to spare her. War does not breed soft people, this much is true for Cassian and Jyn. They’ve gone without it long enough not to miss it, but loyalty runs deep in them both.
