    Steve gets out of the hospital in two days, but just barely. “I’m fine,” he tells Sam, Nurse Eunjung and the phalanx of doctors assigned to make sure Captain America didn’t bleed out and die and get bad PR all over their nice clean hospital. “I have an advanced healing factor. It’s fine. See? I’m standing.”

    “That is not standing,” Sam tells him.

    “You’re bending the IV stand,” Nurse Eunjung adds pointedly. “Let go and sit down, they don’t grow on trees.”

    Steve looks exactly like his dating profile had advertised, with one glaring exception—the sheer size of him.

    Apparently mass doesn’t translate to the small screen, because instead of getting your average beach muscle gym-bro like Bucky had been expecting, he’d instead been met with what has to be 200lbs of build-you-a-house, carry-you-up-a-mountain, wrestle-a-bear-and-win whole ass man, and it’s short circuiting Bucky’s delicate brain.

    And he’s not hiding it particularly well, if the way Steve’s smirking at him when Bucky pulls himself together enough to actually look at his face is anything to go by.

    Bucky stumbles forward, all his controlled grace vanishing in the blink of an eye. Steve catches him by the arm once he’s within reach and tugs him closer, helping him climb on Steve’s lap. He tries to do a half-assed job at first, perching sideways on Steve’s thighs like some blushing virgin. Steve swats his ass and manhandles Bucky into straddling him. He still looks like a blushing virgin, but Steve knows the little pervert soul that lurks underneath that sweet face.

    He thumbs Bucky’s lips, digging his nail into the plush pink of it. Bucky squirms a little without actually trying to get away. Steve holds him tighter anyway, because he knows what Bucky wants, what he needs.

    “Sit still, baby.”

    “Someone might see,” Bucky hisses, twisting to shoot another wary glance over his shoulder.

    Steve grabs his chin and makes him look at Steve. Bucky glares but allows the motion, and the glare withers when Steve digs his fingers in and gives Bucky a little shake.

    “So what if they do?” he asks, arching his brow. “Who cares?”

    “Daddy!”
