Summary

Kunigami doesn’t know why he agrees.
When Ego first announced that they would be let out of the facility for Christmas and New Year’s, he wasn’t even planning on leaving. He’s aware that his family definitely misses him, but he still doesn’t know how to face them just yet. (A pang of guilt always hits him when he thinks of them. They’re definitely watching the matches; how must they feel, seeing him like this?)
His perfectly constructed plan is immediately halted when he sees Bachira bounding towards him from a distance, and the only thought that comes to mind is oh no.
Kunigami begrudgingly spends time with his friends over winter break and confronts some important feelings.
