Sometimes life does silly things to you. Like catching your fiancé cheating three weeks before the wedding. Like ending up on a planet far, far away from him so you don’t have to explain to his mother that she raised a little piece of shit. Like ending up babysitting an ex-military guy that some idiot decided deserved an Avatar. But hey, life does seem to have a good sense of humour at the very least. And maybe, if you just keep on saying ‘fuck you’ to all the stuff it throws at you, maybe you’ll one day get your very own happy ending, or at least something close to it.

Maybe Izzy shouldn’t have sent in her acceptance for an Avatar position on Pandora in a very emotional state, on a whim, and without reading the fine print, but she’s gonna worry about that problem later.
