Summary
Atsushi thought for all that they fight that there must be some sort of kinship there, with how Dazai had his phone held in his right hand and the palm of his left hand on Chuuya’s thigh, just on the inner curve, resting above the knee. He could pass it off as needing to retain contact to immobilize King’s ability but Atsushi wouldn’t have been inclined to believe a word he said, with how his thumb stroked a slow windscreen-wiper motion across the skin of Chuuya’s thigh. The strange, broken relationship he’d viewed over the past few hours left even more questions to be answered. Atsushi wondered if there even were answers to the questions he wanted to pose.
In which Dazai and Atsushi work a stake-out mission at a gentleman's club and run into a familiar face neither were prepared to deal with.

“Stop,” Chuuya gripes, “god, you’re so fucking annoying, can’t you just listen to me and be still for five goddamn seconds?”
“Ew,” Dazai says, like Chuuya has asked him to do something reprehensible like believe in love or that he is worthy of forgiveness or the concept of tenderness without bite.
“Just—” Chuuya hisses as Dazai wriggles purposefully, the look on his face he gets when he knows he’s annoyed Chuuya nearly to breaking and wants to see him break, “fucking be good for me for five seconds. Be good.” Chuuya grips Dazai’s jaw hard as speaks, hard enough to bruise. He uses the voice he uses when he’s working, when people need to listen and they need to do it now.
He’s surprised when Dazai goes still underneath him.
Chuuya looks down at Dazai who is blinking up at him slowly, seemingly dazed. His fingers twitch where he had been idly playing with the hem of Chuuya’s shirt. Chuuya tilts his head and waits for Dazai to say something and Dazai says nothing at all.
Chuuya is fascinated.
“Dazai?” He whispers.
