    The Demonic Emperor Luo Binghe has been in a state of severe unrest after visiting the world where he is supposedly married to his Shizun and lives a far simpler but happier life. Fuelled with outrage at the injustice of never having a loving Shizun and further disoriented by his demonic sword Xin Mo, he suffers from a severe qi deviation that ends up taking his life.

    After waking up in a small town in a body he is not familiar with, Luo Binghe finds himself facing his dead Shizun in the form of a beggar child. This, he feels, is a chance for him to set things right. This, he knows, is how he will get a loving Shizun.

    But determination is not all that he needs now. After all, his life might be new, but the past is always peering down at his present from his shoulders.

    Luo Binghe messes with another reality and causes a big deviation to that world's fate that he ultimately must pay the price. All he ever wanted was to redeem himself and maybe, fix what was wrong with his Shizun. He does not realize that between the two of them, he is far more broken.

    The former demon sovereign is sent to a world that does not simply bow down to him, where his hold on power is tenuous, and where he must share his treasure with everyone he could possibly hate, his fellow Peak Lords in Cang Qiong who all happen to be demon lords like him.
