Summary
Sirius has made a point to never learn the names of anyone in other Houses. There was no need to, in his astute opinion. Everyone who was not in Gryffindor must lack some intrinsic qualities which would therefore make them utterly intolerable as companions. And the Marauders - all three of them - did not need any intolerable fourths, thank you very much.
i.e, Remus is a Ravenclaw Prefect and Sirius is finding it harder and harder to admit he isn't obsessed with him

---Remus handed them all some Muggle concoction, and lifted his glass in cheers. He leaned his head in and shouted above the music, “To Padfoot. I know it’s not easy coming to terms with all this.” They all tapped their glasses, but Sirius meanwhile scoffed.
“You’re making it such a big deal. I simply realized I’m far too gorgeous to reserve myself for the fairer sex. I’ve gotta share the wealth, Moony dear.”
“Ah, homosexual and a communist now?” Remus said with a thoughtful grin, “You’re the Muggle world’s greatest fear."
---Cardiff was just the beginning of what Sirius would eventually determine was his favorite summer yet. Effie and Monty let James and Sirius go to London on weekends, where they’d sneak into underground clubs through backdoors, smoke funny looking pipes in alleys with kids dressed in leather and spikes, and run through the cobblestoned streets whooping and screaming and confident they’d live forever. Black Generation by Richard Hell came out that summer, and Sirius learned how to do his eyeliner like Debbie Harry, and he felt so young and beautiful it took his breath away to see himself sometimes. When he was dancing in a crowd of people, somewhere hot and stuffy and Muggle, he’d look over and see James and they’d smile at one another like they were in on something truly rotten. A part of the world they were never supposed to see but got lucky enough to.
The summer of 1977 was truly rotten, and lovely, and just for them alone. Sirius tried not to think about Remus too much because every time he did, his chest ached, and he still wasn’t sure why. The summer of 1977 lent no spare time for aching. -

Summary
Sirius Black, a loudmouth rockstar whose hobby it was to always make headlines. Sirius is beyond troubled and stuck in a constant cycle of sex and partying that he just can't seem to drag himself out of. Ever since a life-altering event occurred the previous year Sirius has lost his passion not just for music, but life, and doesn't believe he'll ever become the version of himself everyone thought he was destined to be all those years ago. He's stuck on a never ending roundabout with no way out, and with no control over his own life everything seems to be slowly crumbling around him.
Remus Lupin is just trying to get by. What with being a single parent to his four year old son while simultaneously trying to kickstart his career as a radio presenter. Remus has got everything he's ever needed though, friends that are always close by, his mum who's only a phone call away, and of course, his son, Teddy. What else is there? But it's not long before Remus' relatively normal life gets flipped on its head and he's suddenly forced to deal with situations he never thought he'd have to.

“Could I get a name for the order?” Marlene asked.
“Serious,” the man replied. “Like the star,” he clarified, and Remus mentally scratched out 'Serious' and rewrote 'Sirius' in his head.
“The… star?” Marlene asked, her pen hovering over the cup as she hesitated.
“S-I-R-I-U-S,” Remus said. He stocked croissants into the display case, not looking up. “The Dog Star,” he added, “brightest star in the sky, actually. Visible from both hemispheres.” When he looked over, the man– Sirius– seemed surprised, his eyebrows raised as Remus spoke, and when Remus finished, he blinked a few times before smiling lopsidedly.
“Er– yeah,” he breathed a laugh. “That.” There was a baby on his hip. Somehow, it had taken Remus a second glance to notice that.

Or, Remus works as a barista and Sirius comes in every morning with the world's cutest baby, and man, these two just wrote the book on mutual pining, huh?

Oh. He really didn’t want her number and just accepted out of politeness. Sirius didn’t even know Germans did things like that.
Looking back, Sirius will determine without a sliver of a doubt, that this was the exact moment he stopped existing and started living again.
