Izuku has plans for everything.
He plans out what to say to the cashier when ordering coffee, he plans out his homework before even opening his textbook. He has a whole ten-year plan for how he’s going to get into UA’s hero course and get his hero license fully quirkless. He plans for every wild, unlikely scenario he can think of because his anxiety gets so bad if he doesn’t go through every possible outcome, every way his life could landslide into disaster–– but Izuku never planned for this.
For once, he doesn’t have a plan and he doesn’t have time to think of one. All he can see is Yagi-san’s lined, kind face looking resigned as he stares down the villain in his shop. Yagi-san, who is the closest thing to a father figure Izuku has ever had.
Izuku doesn’t think. He just moves.
(Or: Izuku saves the number one hero, gets a hero license way earlier than anyone wanted, realizes that maybe hero society isn’t as great as he thought it was, and everything just kind of falls apart from there.)

It does not feel like possession.
It feels like corruption.
Yuuji is on his hands and knees in a pool of blood. It is as though all of him grows from the pit in his stomach now— the piece of Ryoumen Sukuna in his gut is making him into something more. Something stronger.
Something monstrous.
There is a throne made of animal skulls. The ribs of some great beast stretch out above him in lieu of a ceiling, curling around Yuuji on either side. It is not only a pool of blood, he realizes, but covering the entire space, which fades into nothing beyond Yuuji’s line of sight.
It is some broken down shrine out of a nightmare, except that Yuuji’s nightmares don’t look like this. In Yuuji’s nightmares he is alone, alone, alone, and there is someone cutting open his skull and peeling it back.
In Yuuji’s nightmares, his grandfather is scowling at him.
What did I tell you, Yuuji?
His eyes are red, and there’s black smoke billowing out of his mouth.
Make your life mean something.
Be someone good.
Right now, all he can be is afraid.

“Wait—” Victor says, but Yuuri has already ducked away. “Yuri!” he hears Victor call from behind him.
Yuuri doesn’t stop. He’s made that mistake before – why would Victor Nikiforov know who Yuuri is this year any more than he did last year? Yuri Plisetsky is debuting as a senior, after all, and might be here at the Cup of China to support his rinkmates.
It may be the sound of Yuuri’s name on Victor’s lips, but there is no way Victor is calling for him.
(Canon-divergence. The Nishigori triplets never upload Yuuri's rendition of Stammi Vicino online. Yuuri buys himself time to decide whether he wants to stay on the ice or retire by joining Minami Kenjirou's team as an assistant coach.
Victor never hears from the beautiful Japanese skater after Sochi. He choreographs On Love: Eros because he can’t quite let go, but it’s getting harder to push himself on the ice and the cracks are starting to show.
Two lost individuals take a different route to find love and life, but they eventually get there all the same.)
