Fade, while suffering under the psychological effects of radianite felt a sudden connection to the rip. Since then, she's been working as best she can to help understand it better. Her unprofessional attitude made it difficult, however.
After many scientists before her, now it's Deadlock's turn to step up to work with Fade on understanding what secrets the rip holds about the universe. Nothing could have prepared her for what she saw, though. And nothing could have prepared her for what its like to work with Fade.
