Summary
Rin woke up in the middle of an all-consuming ache, his body feeling like it had just been run over by a truck-three times-and left at the scene like roadkill. Pain throbbed in his skull in relentless waves, so intense that he could practically see Itoshi Sae standing over him with a sledgehammer, bashing his brain without mercy.

Sus primeros años transcurrieron de manera sencilla, aferrado de la mano de su hermano mayor, dedicando cada parte de sí a ser digno de compartir apellido con alguien tan admirable, acompañándolo en cada paso del camino con la esperanza de cumplir juntos los sueños que habían imaginado desde niños. Porque, en ese futuro que Rin visualizaba con tanta claridad, Sae sería el mejor delantero del mundo, y él sería el segundo, siempre corriendo a su lado, siempre admirándolo mientras se elevaba sobre todos los demás con esa facilidad que solo los genios poseen de manera tan innata.
Pero todo cambió cuando el patinaje artístico apareció por primera vez en su vida. O al menos, fue el momento en el que el menor se dió cuenta que tenía intereses propios que no giraban en torno a Sae.
Fue entonces que, sin ser consiente de ello, fue el inicio del fin de la vida que tenía tan meticulosamente planeada y el motivo que los terminaría distanciando. Y tal vez nunca vuelvan a ser iguales, a amarse de una manera tan fácil y natural como dos hermanos inocentes que sólo imaginan un futuro mejor.
Sin embargo, el mundo real es complejo y cruel. Los sueños infantiles deben ser dejados atrás para enfrentar la realidad.
