The Athletic NHL ✅ @TheAthleticNHL
In its latest rulebook update, the NHL quietly added a ban on PDA on the ice. Is this merely coincidence or a response to Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov’s now iconic Stanley Cup kiss?Series

Summary
Still, he’s felt like absolute shit for weeks, and the idea of sitting in his hotel room, where he would probably masturbate, cry, and have another night of fitful sleep, did not make him feel any better. Getting to be skin to skin with Ilya Rozanov did. And surely Rozanov wouldn’t be demanding Shane make a nest in his damn bed if he didn’t fully intend on actually kissing him in it and keeping him there until morning, right?
Maybe that would be enough to pick Shane up out of this drop, keep it from happening again.
OR
After not sending the "we didn't kiss" text, Shane's omega hormones go into distress mode. Despite trying to hide his symptoms and play through the misery, when Ilya Rozanov finds out what's going on, the alpha Shane's body wants most is determined to fix it.

Summary
When he walks into the room and sees Ilya on the couch, holding their infant daughter in his arms and gazing down at her like she hung all the stars in the sky, it’s just like the first time Shane walked in on this tableau.
It feels impossible that he gets to have all this-- Ilya, his husband, whispering sweet Russian words to their Katya, with Anya lying at Ilya’s feet as though standing sentinel over their new little family.
(OR: It's their happily ever after, and now they're dads)

Summary
A statement released in July, 2022 on the official Centaurs social media channels:
"In October of last year, Shane and Ilya became temporary foster parents to one of the students that had participated in the Irina Foundation's hockey camps after he was abandoned by his birth parents for coming out as queer. Since then they have pursued first permanent foster placement and adoption. That adoption was granted and finalized this month. Mac Hollander-Rozanov has been in many pictures that, with his permission, are being re-edited and re-uploaded to remove the emojis that were used to protect his identity in accordance with the government's guidelines."
An additional paragraph added to a photo Ilya and Shane shared to their personal Instagrams:
"Family looks different for everyone, and our family is no different. Mac is our son, and we are so incredibly proud of him and his achievements. We hope that the hockey community will be as respectful of him as they are of other children of players."
