Summary
“How do you want your eggs, Geralt?” Yennefer asked.
“Uhh...” he rounded the corner, not bothering to cover his yawn.
And stopped in his tracks.
Yennefer was standing at the stove, coating a frying pan in oil. Her dark hair was pulled up into a messy bun that was half falling out and she was wearing what appeared to be one of Geralt’s dark blue sweatshirts, so large on her that it came to her mid-thigh. It was the one with the missing tie and the pocket with the grease stains on it that was half falling off. She had rolled the sleeves up several times and the cuffs were large around her slim wrists.
“Geralt?” she asked again, this time throwing a glance at him over her shoulder. “Give me your egg order or you’re not getting any.”
Geralt gazed into her deep purple eyes. She hadn’t bothered to put on makeup yet and he couldn’t help but think that she looked even more stunning this way - in his sweatshirt with messy hair and holding a spatula - than she did in her pantsuits and full makeup.
“Hello? Earth to Geralt?”
He took a step closer to her, looping his hands around her waist loosely. “You’re wearing my sweatshirt,” he whispered shyly.

“What are you trying to imply, Geralt?”
A sigh. “I’ve been thinking lately—” Jaskier’s scoff interrupts his sentence, but Geralt only raises his voice, “—and I realised that you don’t smell like other people do after sex. Most are satisfied and the scent of lust follows them around even after the act. In your case,” he glances at Jaskier, but the bard seems more interested than angry, “I only smell relief. Like you’ve finished some task — like it’s some encumbrance you managed to overcome.”
Jaskier drops his gaze at his hands he’s currently wringing in front of him. Even in the dim lightning Geralt can see how his neck and cheeks begin to flush, and the fatty smell of embarrassment rises from the heated skin.
Or: Geralt notices something different about Jaskier, and confronts the bard about it.
