Summary

Summary
"You know," Percy says. Jason is too well-trained to startle when she turns, but Percy has this nasty habit of sneaking up into her blind spots; emotional and otherwise. She's leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed, which incidentally does some really fantastic things for the muscles in her shoulders. "If you wanted, I could, um. Lend a hand."
Jason blinks. Percy scratches at her nose, eyes skittering away and then back to Jason. There's a distinct flush of crimson around her cheekbones, but she doesn't backtrack or elaborate.
"You…could?" Jason repeats, stupidly.
Percy shrugs. "I have some training in stabbing people with needles and whatnot," she says. "Could give you the VIP experience."
"Gee," Jason says dryly. "I feel so honored."
"You should be," Percy says. "I don't offer this to just anyone, you know."
She says it lightly, but she holds Jason's gaze all the while. Jason could tell her to go back to bitching at her stupid med drama, that Jason's done this dozens of times by now but, of course, she doesn't. Percy is extraordinarily difficult to say no to.
