Summary
Nick is struggling with being bisexual in a world that seems to assume that straight or gay are the only two legitimate options. Call him a romantic, but he's not interested in hook ups and one night stands. He wants a relationship, with someone he can be his whole self with. And his true self is bi, and proud!
Charlie is struggling with trust and control after an abusive relationship in high school shatters his self esteem. His therapist has suggested he needs to find a hobby that pushes at his limits of being in control. Charlie thinks Geoff probably meant joining a band, or maybe rock climbing, and not seducing fit guys, who are way out of his league, for one night stands. Same results though, so what's the harm?
An aged up AU. Our two favourite boys are at the same Uni, but don't know each other yet. Until a chance encounter on a night out that ends up changing everything.
TW for mentions of self harm, ED, past SA/NonCon - nothing too extreme I hope, but they're definitely mention as part of Charlie's story. It's mainly fluff?

“I understand having a hard time. You know that. I’m never going to be mad at you for struggling. I just don’t like to see you making it worse.” I shake my head to clear away the speech I’m already building to. Nick is too drunk for it right now, and I don’t know what good it could even do at his most sober. Nick doesn’t cope well with emotions. I know this. He knows this. We’ve been talking about it in circles for months now.
Uni's a lot harder than Nick anticipated. Assignments. Rugby. Being away from his boyfriend. Coming out to his new flatmates. For years, he's been a shoulder to cry on and a sympathetic ear, but if he's going to get through this next phase of his life, he's going to have to learn to accept the the help he's so used to giving.

“I’m glad you’re here too.” Tenderly, Nick manoeuvres Charlie’s limbs so his arms are around Nick’s middle, then he rests their foreheads together and kisses the bridge of Charlie’s nose. “I loved uni last year, but I love you more. And, like, why wouldn’t we want to experience the best years of our lives by each other’s sides?”
