Summary
This is just seven minutes in heaven. Not ten or thirty minutes in heaven. Seven minutes go by fast.
Literally just do nothing. Xia Fei voices in his head. Don’t touch him. Don’t even look at him. How are people tempted to have sex inside a stranger’s closet in these games anyway? It isn’t that hard to control yourself!
Or, Xia Fei, Liu Xiao, and seven minutes in heaven (or hell with the devil himself, according to Xia Fei).

Summary
Five minutes pass in a blink of an eye. The warmth of Xia Fei’s body and the soft snores become more audible. Instead of waking up, Xia Fei snuggles closer to Vein’s body, as if there is ever a gap between them. Xia Fei’s cheek is squished against the shoulder blade, and his arm wraps around Vein’s.
A dark chuckle. Vein glances at Xia Fei’s sleeping face. His cheeks puff out. His lips part. His eyelashes glow under the passing streetlight. It’s adorable, almost. Like a mouse unknowingly sleeping on a cat’s fur, near where the mouth is, fangs open.
“How brave,” Vein comments.
Xia Fei sleeps on Vein's shoulder on their way home.

Summary
“Can you tell me what’s wrong?” Lu Guang asks.
“Well…” Cheng Xiaoshi hesitates, not sure where to start. He can start by his morbid thoughts, how he wants to see his own face melt until he doesn’t see the face of his dad. But Lu Guang will definitely worry. “It’s not a big deal. I just… look like my dad.”
Lu Guang doesn’t speak. He waits for Cheng Xiaoshi to continue. And Cheng Xiaoshi loves that about him.
“I don’t want to be like him.”
Cheng Xiaoshi despises how his face reminds him of his dad. Lu Guang comforts him by kissing him, I guess.

Summary
Lu Guang gazes towards the photographer, meeting the lenses of the camera. He sees himself in the reflection, despite the darkness that devours it. When only his breaths sound after a second, the camera is pulled down. Lu Guang halts his breaths.
He meets the eyes of grace, the eyes of life. A smile that truly does shine and shouldn’t be brushed away so simply. Black hair tied with a tiny ponytail and swaying against the wind. An indent that slightly shows by the end of his lips, on his cheek.
His heart skips a beat. His body warms. He wants to draw him so bad.
Or, Lu Guang discovers the person who completes his life: Cheng Xiaoshi.

Summary
He never thought he’d take Cheng Xiaoshi to this place again.
It’s a patch of green on elevated ground. The grass is tall and sharp, and the crickets run free in the wild. In here, there is no light seen from the city, no pollution covering the atmosphere, no man spotted near the vicinity. The only existences that stand here are the two of them, one mind childlike, and the other reliving that innocent wonder he had in his previous life the moment he stepped onto this land.
Or, Lu Guang takes Cheng Xiaoshi to a place he's once happy in.

Summary
“I love you,” Cheng Xiaoshi says.
Lu Guang hums, eyes fluttering before closing shut. Lu Guang doesn’t have to say anything else. Pressing deeper into his palm and kissing the tips of his fingers already screams how much he loves him too.
Or, Lu Guang has a headache and Cheng Xiaoshi holds him.

Summary
Lu Guang’s tears is its own phenomenon that exists only at this moment in time and space. In the studio where Cheng Xiaoshi grew up alone. In the room where Cheng Xiaoshi rested, now near Cheng Xiaoshi’s bed, woken up by the sounds of sobs so close to his ear that it’s almost white and deafening.
A soothing room of lull. A place where all voices of fear hide under the sheets until the sunlight cracks through the windows. That fear exists only now, in the moonlight, where Lu Guang’s eyes reflect and illuminate a rare blue Cheng Xiaoshi will never see again.
A sniffle. Lu Guang’s voice cracks out in a broken, uneven wave. “Cheng Xiaoshi?”
Or, Cheng Xiaoshi sees Lu Guang cry for the first time, and the author is high on school work.

Time must’ve moved fast. Reo seems to see him, because his head perks up when Reo turns back to face Nagi. His neutral expression brightens to a smile.

“I heard if you don’t find your soulmate in twelve years, you’ll lose your chance to be with your soulmate forever. Is that true, Rin-chan?” Bachira’s smile doesn’t fade, yet the sun that was once above his head has set under his heart.
Rin takes no effort to answer. He only lets the wind respond.
“Actually, you seem like the type who wouldn’t know anything about soulmates,” Bachira guesses, finger poking his own cheek. “But if it is true, then I need to find them. At least know who they are.”
You already have so many people you can trust. Why find another? Rin wants to ask, but he doesn’t let himself sound.
Or, Bachira wants to find his soulmate. Rin doesn’t.

Summary
It is the fifth time this week where Nagi wakes up at midnight, alone on the cool of the blankets as the freezing air embraces him until each part of his body shivers from the breeze.
Five years. They met, fell out, reconciled, and confessed within these five years without break. Five years, and even though they thought the world would try to pull them apart, they will somehow manage to get back together.
Five years almost sounds impossible to Nagi. It’s a hassle to think about the length of time, especially when it’s that long. But now that the frigid feeling of a ghostly presence crawls back to his skin, Nagi realises how much changed after Reo entered his life and how much he wants— no — needs him.
Or, Nagi wakes up without Reo and searches for him.
