Summary
Sasuke is all set to leave on his journey of atonement. He's already made it clear that he wants Naruto to stay in the village, but Naruto just can't let Sasuke go without him. He's his best friend after all! What will happen when Sasuke inevitably finds himself being followed? And even more importantly, what will happen if Sasuke lets Naruto accompany him on his journey, in the end?

...It’s Naruto. Okay, fine, it’s Naruto.
Unfortunately his best friend is 1. not gay and 2. a simp for goth girls, so Sasuke is stuck finding a replacement to sleep with, rejecting Naruto’s drunken advances, and being a good friend. It's an uphill battle of monstrous proportions and Sasuke just wishes he could take the easy way out by shoving his five years of pining off a cliff.
Instead, he ends up wearing all black after a photoshoot gone wrong and Naruto shows him firsthand how deep his affinity for goths really runs, and the uphill battle just gets that much harder.

“Wanna try, Killua?” Gon asks, breathless and grinning despite being tossed to the dirt less than thirty seconds ago.
Killua tears his gaze away from Gon’s bright face to the open field in front of him. A crowd of students are scattered around in an uneven circle, all cheering loudly as a boy and girl take their places on opposite sides of the ring.
“I’d need to know what the hell is even going on before I agree to anything,” Killua says, exasperated, and Gon’s grin only grows. “Why are you all hurling yourselves at each other like that?! You’re lucky you didn’t get your front two teeth knocked out!”
Gon laughs. “Don’t be silly, Killua! It’d be impossible to hit each other; you'd have to be soulmates for that to happen!”
(In a universe where a person cannot physically kiss someone who isn’t their soulmate, a class of idiotic high schoolers spend their free period running towards each other to see who could get the closest before the universe repels them)
