Stiles was in the middle of saddling up one of the newly acquired mustangs when someone entered the stables. The horse immediately started to buck in protest, not used to people at all but Stiles managed to calm him down.
“You’re good at that, Stilinski,” Stiles heard the posh accented voice of the Whittemore heir, Jackson.
Stiles just shrugged, without taking his eyes off of the barely tamed horse, and answered, “It’s my job.”

Summary
When Scott started reading the sheets of music, he kind of tuned out Derek’s monologue because…wow. The lyrics were so powerful and so intimate, given that he knew what happened in Derek’s life, what happened to his family.
The song was beautiful. He could already see how he could incorporate his own style of music into it. The beginning would be slow, soft, probably acoustic or even classical guitar. Then it would switch into something heavier with more gravity to perfectly support the meaningful lyrics. He could almost hear it in his head, his electric guitar and Derek’s violin intertwined in the beautiful melody, showcasing the powerful message behind Derek’s song.
Scott felt choked up all of a sudden. It was so much. And it was so intimate, he felt as if he was privy to Derek’s emotions, his feelings laid bare before Scott.

He should let go of Shane’s hand and leave. A brief visit from the opposing captain is understandable; an extended stay is less so.
Of course, this is when the door opens and Yuna Hollander steps in.
Or, the hospital scene, if Yuna had been to one to walk in on Ilya visiting Shane, featuring a Shane that is a little more high and prone to spilling secrets.

Still, he’s felt like absolute shit for weeks, and the idea of sitting in his hotel room, where he would probably masturbate, cry, and have another night of fitful sleep, did not make him feel any better. Getting to be skin to skin with Ilya Rozanov did. And surely Rozanov wouldn’t be demanding Shane make a nest in his damn bed if he didn’t fully intend on actually kissing him in it and keeping him there until morning, right?
Maybe that would be enough to pick Shane up out of this drop, keep it from happening again.
OR
After not sending the "we didn't kiss" text, Shane's omega hormones go into distress mode. Despite trying to hide his symptoms and play through the misery, when Ilya Rozanov finds out what's going on, the alpha Shane's body wants most is determined to fix it.
