“Oh my god,” Renjun mutters.
“Oh, shit,” Donghyuck adds on, eyes widening.
Jaemin frowns and follows their line of sight. “Oh,” he says once his eyes land on them.
He has to admit, he understands exactly what Donghyuck and Renjun are going through as he eyes the 3 shirtless men in the pool. They’re all handsome, smiling and laughing as they splash each other in the pool, but there’s one guy that Jaemin seems to zero in on. One of the boys was dunking him under the water, so Jaemin didn’t get a good look at him until he came up for air and wow was it a sight to see.
The man smiles at the other as he runs a hand through his wet, dark hair. Jaemin’s eyes slowly trail up his body, taking a second to appreciate those arms. None of the men here have caught his eye, until now. He takes in everything he can before finally reaching the man's eyes—
He’s looking right back at Jaemin.
Or: Jaemin spends his break falling in love. Mark spends his break doing the same, and hiding from Jaemin’s protective brother.

Summary
The last smile Jaemin had thrown his way had been full of understanding and patience, with maybe a small, joking undertone that had probably been there to ease the awkwardness of approaching a stranger at night to give them life advice. This smile on the other hand, is much more…predatory. There’s still an element of humor to it, but not necessarily the friendly kind. The kind that makes Mark feel like there’s some joke he isn’t in on.
getting nabbed after a late-night run in with a stranger isn't ideal, but Mark finds himself strangely fascinated by his kidnapper(s)

“Can you?” Mark interjected in vain, glancing at their sides to briefly check if the dispersed people around them noticed their quarrel.
Even if they weren’t as loud as they were inside the movie theater just five minutes ago, anyone who looked hard enough would be able to sense the tension that strung like a taut rubber band between the two.
The shine of the marquee above them gave Jaemin a puzzling glint in his eyes, a certain glow to his features. The amber light hugged his cheekbones and the bridge of his nose, and Mark couldn’t help but stare.
