One would assume that it’s not Jiang Wanyin whose violet energy-construct whip lashes bright through the dark alleyway, and it’s certainly not Jiang Wanyin who crosses the distance between one end of it and the other in a flash of superpowered speed and resplendent Yunmeng Agency robes. Except that Nie Huaisang knows his own telepathic abilities, and has long since learned not to doubt them - and it most definitely is Jiang Wanyin whose thoughts are loud and thunderous from underneath Sandu Shengshou’s mask.
