He knows where she’s looking, and he really tries not to. He doesn’t want to but ends up following her line of vision to the one spot that everyone seems to be looking at and avoiding at the same time these days. The spot in front of the window where Magne’s magnetic weapon is still resting against the wall.

Zuko looked at him then, wary but listening. Sokka rubbed the back of his neck. “I mean…” He nudged a piece of wood into place. “You could stay in your room. Ivan wakes up in a grass field full of red flowers. The air is warm and dry, and Ivan breathes it in, the ghost of rain still running down his face and the image of Till’s shocked face smeared in his vision. A beautiful blue sky looms overhead.
On his left, a boy with gray hair lays beside him, fast asleep. Ivan thinks surely even death could not be this cruel. Ivan swallows as he skims his fingers over the boy’s face.
“Till.” He says, too softly for anyone to hear.
Till stirs, his eyelids twitch, but he doesn’t wake.
Ah.
Ivan wonders which part of this is the bad dream.

In the sunshine that bleeds into the open dojo, something dark catches his eye. Like a raven across the sky, the dark black feathers shine in hues of purples and brown like an oil spill.
Till’s eyes catch onto a person. The slope of their nose, the way their “W” shaped mouth, pouty, cupid's bow, soft, and heart-shaped, curve slightly upwards at the corners. Accentuated by the sun, their eyes burn like coals.
Till sees Ivan.
Yeah, Till liked being alone, but with this view… I guess… This is okay.
