When Lottie opened the door she had to keep herself from gasping. Nat didn’t normally look the most put together, but it was clear this wasn’t just the result of a midnight smoke session.
There was blood all over her face. A busted lip, a bloody handprint on her jaw, some random smears of blood across her cheeks and bloody, muddy hair. On top of that her left eye was slowly starting to bruise.
