It's just a part of his job, to keep the small community together, to check in on people, especially those on the fringes of society...and the beautiful widow of Frank Iero, whose unsolved murder still haunts the town of Black Lake and its inept local investigators, is definitely on the precipice. Now, strange shit's happening in the woods around town, and people getting blackmailed with animal hides, that's not really a part of his job. Whatever's going on, it seems to hang over the town like a shroud.
And the days are only getting shorter.
