Everyone's heard of a fallen angel, but what about an ascended devil?
Seonghwa rose to yet another day where he wishes he could just sink his emotionless face into his stone cold mattress until his lungs run out of breath, putting him out of his never-ending misery. Another day of keeping an inexpressive face present at all times- something he has grown very familiar with from all these years he practically has no emotions left in him. He’s grown so numb after being put through so many years of, well, hell.

Now he’s here, in the library, his black hoodie stretched as far as it could over Hyeongjun’s head to cover the black and purple bruise on his left eye. He’s living a nightmare every day, the cycle never changing. It’s constantly never ending pain, always being on edge since he never knows when those bullies are going to show up around the corner and take him away.
They will only leave once the quiet boy steps out of school to pummel him into the ground.

Seonghwa opened his eyes, he hadn’t even realized he had closed them. The first thing he noticed was the thick leather boots in front of him. The next thing he realized was that the owner of these boots was talking quietly. Not to him but to the pirate beside him.
“He’s alive, right?”
“Yeah… But he looks like shit compared to before. His leg is definitely worse for wear. I thought you said it was just a scrape?”
“That's what he told me, I didn’t exactly hold him down and strip him to find out, Yunho”
Yunho sighed, and lightly Seonghwa felt the pirate's hand tap his shoulder. “Really?” The Captain questioned with an annoyed tone. “I don’t want to get stabbed Hongjoong…” Yunho mumbled.
;; Seonghwa is a merchant navigator aboard a ship that has been decimated by a notorious Captain and his feared crew, left alive and taken aboard by Hongjoong for reasons he doesn't quite understand.
Hongjoong is the new Captain of the Halazia, and searching for a navigator who can lead him and his crew to a legendary place regarded once as a sailors tale until he finds a piece of a map.
They need each other, whether they want to or not.

Summary
In a world in which humans and vampires live side by side, Seonghwa is a struggling human desperate for a steady income and a roof over his head. Summary
Seonghwa is a famous model, and when he receives an invite to the international tennis open, he fully intends to decline. But when his friends beg him to go, spewing some nonsense about a hot tennis player who has apparently gone viral for both his looks and his skill, Seonghwa eventually agrees.
The player’s name is Kim Hongjoong, and Seonghwa winds up sitting courtside at the final match of the tournament, watching Hongjoong play. He can’t deny that Hongjoong is… well, super hot, but he doesn’t expect for the man to stare at him in return, showing open interest in Seonghwa between sets. Cameras flash, and social media runs wild with their interactions throughout the game, their names trending worldwide.
This is not the kind of publicity Seonghwa intended to attract by attending the game, but he also can’t get the tennis player off his mind no matter how hard he tries.

Summary
Pirates spend their lives hunting down treasure, but the most valuable treasure of all isn’t gold or jewels - it’s mermaid scales. After the majority of Captain Kim Hongjoong’s crew is decimated by disease, he has no choice but to turn to the hunting of mermaids to keep himself and his remaining men afloat. When a new pirate joins them, however, he struggles to maintain his control over his crew, his ship, and his emotions.
It’s only a matter of time until Hongjoong’s notorious reputation falls apart, but little does he know that darker plans are at play beneath the surface.
Mermaids can walk on land if they choose, but doing so is practically unheard of due to the risks. Seonghwa is the only living mermaid of his kind left, and after a life of hiding from ruthless hunters, he hatches a plan for revenge. He poses as a pirate and steps ashore for the first time in his life, all with the intent to destroy a certain captain, his crew, and his ship from the inside.
It’s only a matter of time until Seonghwa’s true identity is revealed, but he plans to destroy them all before it comes to that.
