Summary
Felix is numb to these dumb jokes. He’s numb to fighting, to banter, to the fear that comes with a constant threat to his life. Battling is just going through the motions. Byleth tells him where to go, he stabs, and people die. It’s grotesque, but that’s war.
“Good thing you focused so much on your training,” Sylvain says after Felix takes down two in one swipe.
Felix scoffs. “It’s how I stay alive,” he snaps, “You could stand to learn a thing or —“
Felix dies and is given a chance to do it all over again, but something’s wrong. Things aren’t progressing how they should be.

Bernadetta collapses against the wall around the corner from where Sylvain approached her about her wip. Everything's hot and spinning. He can't know. She can't let him find out. She needs to come up with a plan, some sort of believable lie so he doesn't find out —

Bernadetta screams. Sylvain, the notorious flirt that was defeated in chapter 41 of The Villainess Grades On A Bell Curve, flinches but doesn't run away. He's fearless. And tall. And she's going to die here.

He wasn’t expecting that. He swallows and, with a small voice, he says, “It wasn’t my intention to interrupt a loving relationship.”
For the first time since Odin entered the vehicle, Leo relaxes. He leans back in his seat and sighs, shaking his head. With his guard lowered he looks exhausted, rather than furious — he has bags under his eyes and a heavy weight on his shoulders. Niles watches Leo with a frown and, after a beat of silence, takes a bottle of water from the door and hands it to Leo. Leo pushes it away and Niles shoves it back into his lap.
“I have a proposition,” Leo says, much gentler than before, “If you’re willing to hear it.”
Niles looks like he just ate a bug. Odin’s certain this is the end.
A drunken one night stand turns out to be way more complicated than Odin expected, and the best way to untangle themselves is to fake a relationship for awhile. What can go wrong?

Felix hates small talk, but Annette has been encouraging him to try harder, so he does. “So what kind of art do you make?”

Sylvain steps back toward his table. Felix looks up at him while his back is turned. He’s wide, with bright red hair tousled like he just rolled out of bed, and when Sylvain turns towards Felix he sees freckles spattered across his face, a relaxed smile, and a small pinback button on his t-shirt saying he/they. Felix straightens his back.
“I make these little button things,” he explains.
Felix looks. Then he glances back at Sylvain’s table to confirm his suspicions. He slouches again. A red shiba plastered over a blue background, an actual, honest-to-goodness ffuuuuuu face, Pikachu with his mouth open.
Sylvain sells, eugh, meme merch.
