The crowd of people moved in sync around him, not noticing him abruptly stopping in his tracks.
Not noticing the way his heart stopped or how his hands shook. Sieun willed himself to move, but how could he really?

Joe and Cherry are on the cusp of rekindling their relationship when their old friend from high school, ADAM, enters the scene and tries to wedge himself between them, once more. This both infuriates Joe and emboldens him. He's not about to miss his chance with Cherry and let ADAM get in the way, again. He's going to win Cherry and their team is going to finally win against ADAM at 'S.'

“You better not get distracted staring at the back of my neck,” Kaoru teased with a tantalizing toss of his long cherry-blossom colored ponytail.
“Vain, much?”
Karou pushed the black and purple helmet down on his head and tightened the strap at his chin. “No. I just know you.”
Kojiro pinched Kaoru’s side, daring him to squeal, but he wouldn’t take the bait.
“If we win, I might consider going home with you tonight, Joe.”
“Is that right? Well then, Cherry, we better win,” Karou responded with a wink.

Summary
Reki hears his professor talk in the front of the classroom, but doesn’t pay him much attention and keeps writing down notes on the funny cartoon he drew of Shadow, until he hears a voice with a weird accent that he doesn’t recognize.
He bolts his head up and he’s met with a boy standing in front of the board, where the kanji reads Langa Hasegawa. Reki guesses he’s not from Japan since he doesn’t seem to speak the language very well, and his eyes also look kind of weird. He looks like he’s definitely out of place.
“I came here from Canada,” is basically everything the professor is able to get out of him in his presentation.
The boy ends up taking the seat beside Reki’s. Maybe I’ll make a new friend, he thinks.
