It was showtime.
“Hello passengers of the 04804 Limited Express from New Optain to East City, I regret to inform you about a slight change in schedule. You see, this train has been hijacked by the Eastern Liberation Front. This is your new captain speaking, Edward Elric, the People’s Alchemist.”
Ed allowed for his words to sink in. On the other end of the train, Al would leave his hiding place, moving from carriage to carriage to make sure no civilian got any ideas.
Instead of following Colonel Roy Mustang into the military, Edward and Alphonse Elric are recruited by the Eastern Liberation Front - it changes almost nothing. It changes absolutely everything.
