Summary
Trapped in a cage of her own unwitting making, in the aftermath of the prophecy Furina drifts around helplessly and tries to figure out what is left of her after hundreds of years of lies and loneliness. The process is tortuous and silent with no one to understand her toiling but maybe all she needs to lift her burden, even just a little, is to find someone that will listen.
Lynette can't claim that she's the right person, or even a good person at all but- listening is something that she can do.

The Bonnibel we know and love and the Bonnibel we are highly attracted to have been switched! In yet another of Prismo's fuck ups, he's managed to relocate the Princess Bubblegum from the main story and the Princess Bubblegum from the Vampire World (as seen in Episode 7 of Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake) to the other's universe! Chaos ensues.
Written before the release of Episodes 9-10 of Fionna and Cake, so if anything contradicts them, this is why. I'm presuming that Simon survives, and returns to his reality, and proceeding in that fashion. Also, this is my first fic, and chapters might be a little short.

"Her hands twitch, as if they were remembering itself how they yanked at tufts of hair and fought to drive a stake through her heart. Her breath hitches as she remembers falling down to her death, a horde of vampires blanketing the sky as they encroached upon her and The Star. For once in her life, Bonnibel felt fear. And that was more terrifying than death itself."
