“I'll ring the doorbell, apologize for not calling, kiss her cheek, ask if I could come in, excuse myself if she has company.” That's what he has been chanting over and over in his head since waking up that morning. Perfectly logical, expected, well-mannered behaviour.
He didn't count on Sansa gasping upon seeing him, throwing her hands around his neck and hugging him as tightly as to hurt. It threw him completely off, made color rise high in his cheeks and worst of all – made him stutter his words. He barely made any sense explaining when he'd arrived, why he hadn't called, how nice it was to see her.

Sansa tries to tug her hand from the old woman’s grasp, but the woman is deceptively strong and holds her tight within her grip. She can feel a tingle down her spine, as though ice is melting and dripping down her back. “I’m not a wolfgirl,” she protests, “that’s my sister.”
The old woman tilts her head, and for a second the waning light catches her wrinkled, pockmarked face. "You are what I’ve seen, girl, and I’ve seen a wolf. Larger than any wolf should be, wild as the true north; white as snow, as the bark of a weirwood tree.”

This still fits within canon through season 3, episode 7, but I've assumed that Anne and Gilbert start a romantic relationship by the summer before they leave for Queen's. I've also skipped over dealing with Winnie and I'm assuming that somehow that relationship was resolved. I like the character just fine but I'm tired of it as a plot contrivance so I'm waving it away. :)
