Somewhere along the way, Mo Ran had stopped paying attention to what was happening on the screen, and shifted his gaze in favor of staring at Chu Wanning’s nimble hands. He couldn’t help but note how his slender fingers flicked the controller’s joystick, or the way the calloused pads pressed down on the buttons in a cold and calculated manner, showing no mercy.
The sight was mesmerizing, and in the midst of his staring, Mo Ran realized the game wasn’t the only thing that was hard now.
