Lee Donghyuck is your everyday average Joe, he doesn’t have many friends nor intended to branch out in his social standings. He gets good grades, never slips up and never intends to. He's just normal like that. He also has normal hobbies like cycling, playing video games and as embarrassing as it seems he also really enjoys American tv shows. I think you get it now, Lee Donghyuck is nothing more than a background character, just boring normal Lee Donghyuck. And just like any other normal Monday morning, it came as a surprise that his next-door neighbour Mark Lee wakes up to Lee Donghyuck covered in blood and with a bloodied knife in his right hand.
Alternatively: Donghyuck begs Mark to be his partner in crime.

Listen. The whole vigilante thing wasn’t Donghyuck’s idea, it was Mark’s. Donghyuck only agreed because he’s absolutely in love with him, and maybe because he was a little bored with smashing windows and jumping off of rooftops.
Saving their city also wasn’t his idea, but Donghyuck’s learning that very little is actually in his control when it comes to Mark.
(or: Mark Lee dies twice, and nine months later, he and Donghyuck unfortunately find the fate of the city resting on their shoulders).
