“I want to marry Yuuji,” Satoru says. Because he’s faceplanted himself on Shoko’s desk, what he actually ends up saying is “Iwaughoomffrluuji”.
Shoko, unfortunately for her, has known Satoru long enough to understand him anyway. “You’ve been saying that for a while now, but I still haven’t seen a ring on Itadori-kun’s finger.” She pauses to squint down at him. “And get off my desk, you’re dribbling spit on my supply acquisition forms.”
It's been over two years since Sukuna's defeat and Satoru wants to lock his beloved Yuuji down already. (As opposed to locking him up, but Yuuji's also into that, though that's only for Satoru to know.)

The sliding door opens abruptly.
“Umh…” he doesn’t know how to begin, and the man is very still, and doesn’t ask anything, so Xiao Xingchen stutters: “I need a place to spend the night, and all the inns are full. Someone told me maybe I could find a room here?”
The man snorts, the curve of his mouth barely visible in the darkness.
“Go ask somewhere else. This is no place for you”.
And just like that, the door is slid closed in front of his eyes.
Xiao Xingchen is stunned dumb for a couple of seconds.
