Jinx stumbled, leaning hard against the nearest wall. Her heart was pounding in her chest, her legs felt like jello, and her stomach… No, below her stomach, it felt like a bunch of tingling ants decided to march from her navel, down, and set a growing flame right between her legs.
She shuddered, pushing her thighs together while squirming in place.
Something was really off.

Summary
After crashing on a mysterious island, Lux unexpectedly encounters her savior in the form of a blue-haired wildcard. Not only that, but the island holds more secrets than Lux can uncover, all the while a war rages in Demacia.
And what's this feeling in her chest every time she looks at her savior?

“No,” Lux replied. “Memory is malleable. It can be inserted. Altered. Sustained artificially.” She met Jinx’s gaze fully. “If I were constructing a prison for myself, I would fill it with happiness.”
Jinx did not immediately respond.
Instead, she asked quietly, “Why would you construct a prison that feels like freedom?”
Lux felt the question sink into her.
“Because freedom without guilt is something I have never believed I deserve,” she said honestly.

Story takes place after Arcane season 2's ending (canon divergence - Jinx escapes on an airship) and draws inspiration from Arcane and League of Legends lore, however you don't need to be proficient in either to read or really understand. Also takes some original inspiration for writing's sake.
