He would probably want to be asked out, would want Yeonjun to propose to him, and then he would be excited about it. Just a quick conversation wouldn't do it. Right? Yeonjun shifts in his seat with the air missing from his lungs, trying to understand how he could miss the moment he became Taehyun's partner.

    “I want to go home,” Soobin replies bluntly, looking down at a stray string of the yellow carpet waving with the flow of the air conditioner. He doesn’t want to look up, his arms tightly crossed over his chest. He hates this, he hates all of this. No one seems to be on his side, and that thought alone fills his head with nauseating anger.

    This new house with Yeonjun, and Beomgyu, and Taehyun, and Kai — these new scents, those itchy sheets, and the wisteria flowers on his dresser — it isn’t home and he’ll be damned to call it that.
