Halbrand has this brilliant idea to pretend to dose himself with the pollen of a flower that grows in Eregion — it is rumored that this plant can cause unbearable arousal, and can even be fatal — but only for humans. The plan is to get Celebrimbor to minister him to health, to further capture his divided attention. He figures his maiar biology will render him immune; he is sorely mistaken, much to his chagrin.

Should Celebrimbor be jealous of Annatar’s new protégé? Will he bring camaraderie or discord to Eregion?

Summary
A jealous Annatar feels neglected as Celebrimbor spends so much time with Narvi during the construction of the Doors of Durin. He devises a plan to get trapped with Celebrimbor behind said doors without asking Narvi the password, just to get some hours alone with the Lord of Eregion. Things go better than Annatar anticipated — sadly much worse for Celebrimbor.
