The worm woman's name turns out to be Jane Prentiss. She's 22, a gemini, and she's studying Earth Sciences because UCL doesn't offer an entomology degree. She wears a mood ring and claims to be a practicing witch. Annabelle isn't sure if she's joking or not.
She also doesn't use makeup, and her face is pockmarked liberally with what Annabelle recognizes to be very bad cystic acne scars. Annabelle, who deliberately styles her hair to hide the sizable bald patch on the side of her head from an unfortunate cooking oil accident when she was a child, can sympathize.
Jane Prentiss is an incredibly bizarre woman. She is also, without a doubt, the most interesting person Annabelle has ever met.
