Summary
George’s lips parted in contemplation, a mixture and an internal debate between the healed and the wounded. Dream just looked down at him like he was the only person he would ever fall for—maybe that’s why he craved it so much.
Dream was sinking and boy if he was going below the surface he needed something to either pull him back up or be his anchor.
But George didn’t have the strength to pull him back up.
He pulled Dream by his collar and smashed their lips together in an instant.

Or, Dream goes to a wedding months after being broken up with George. He hates him for the way he left him but still loves him too much to walk away when they run into each other in a secluded part of the venue.

“No, there’s no ‘just’ about it, Dream!” George stands now, crosses his arms and looks at the other in the face. Dream suddenly finds the pavement very interesting, better than the angry look that’s sprung from George’s gaze. “Tell me what you mean. I just want to know what you mean.”
Dream fumbles, doesn’t know what to really say to that. He didn’t know where he was going with it, without a plan and now he’s struggling, coming from absolutely nothing and having nowhere to go.
Dream didn't mean to bring it up and doesn't know why he offered her name, but maybe it wasn't such a bad thing that it happened now.
