    Mo Hao wasn't supposed to survive more than a few days, but fate decides on a whim to take a different path. Now as Mo Xuanyu navigates his fraught life, his steps are dogged by an adoring little brother that would do anything for him. When his ill-fated summoning of the Yiling Patriarch fails and the rest of the Mo family is massacred by an unruly severed arm, Mo Xuanyu decides it's time to leave and figure out other ways to get his revenge on his last remaining target. Of course, Mo Hao is going with him. Like he's ever let anyone stop him from doing exactly as he likes.

    Meanwhile, the Lans investigating the whole arm thing find the failed summoning array while cleaning up from the event and come to the very worst of assumptions.

    (Or, Wei Wuxian immediately reincarnates upon death into Mo Xuanyu's little brother, born at the same time his heart stops, and changes things in his normal chaotic ways.)

    For a long moment, Shen Yuan stares into empty space almost sightlessly, trying to understand what the hell is going on.
    Then, the boy finally sits up shakily. His eyes are as dark as pitch black, with a firm gaze that's too hard for a boy his age. His hair is a thick, dark, and dense tangle, escaping from his high ponytail in unruly strands. Despite how wild his hair makes him look, there's a delicate beauty mark under his eye.
    In the center of his forehead, Shen Yuan stares in stupefied horror at a red zuiyin that he knows very well.

    A half-Heavenly Demon child emerges from a dark portal in the middle of Shen Yuan's apartment. Fine, Shen Yuan can handle it. He'll just have to take care of little Luo Chengle, one of Luo Binghe's sons, until his father comes to pick him up. Luo Binghe couldn't possibly take too long to search for his own son, right?

    Shang Houhua dies at the ripe old age of 27, electrocuted to death after spilling cup ramen onto his keyboard. A death as embarrassing as it was painful, but at least a blessedly quick way to go.

    Shang Houhua, later renamed Shang Qinghua by his shizun upon promotion to head disciple, dies at the age of 98 to a blade taken for the king he served.

    Uchiha Houhua is born screaming.

     

    Reincarnated into the role of Uchiha Izumi as “thanks” for his excellent service in the role of Shang Qinghua, Qinghua only has one mission— to “grow close to the character of Uchiha Itachi, then die on his blade to further his guilt.”

    The catch? After that, there will be no 4th life.

    With death fast approaching and little to no way out, Qinghua— now Houhua, scrambles to find a way to somehow escape the Uchiha massacre, as well as earn that next life from the system by managing to become an “important” character in the narrative.

    …It was times like this that Houhua really wished he’d actually finished reading Naruto

    Learning that Mobei-Jun had a human spy in Cang Qiong Mountain Sect proved too much of a temptation for Luo Binghe, who was fresh from the Endless Abyss and had spent every day since being thrown away wondering about the man who sent him there.
    When he visited An Ding in secret he expected to be told that his Shizun had forgotten him and moved on. He expected to discover new depths to the feeling of betrayal. He even expected to have to remove his traitorous Shishu from the equation if he posed a threat to Shizun.
    He didn't expect to discover something that turned his world on its head instead.
