“What?” Sanemi’s heart stops in his chest, but his body moves. He’s flicking on his bedside lamp as he toes on his slippers, grabbing a hoodie that was left carelessly on the back of his desk chair.
“I’m very sorry for your loss,” Urokodaki says. “I’m calling to request you come down here as soon as you can. As his closest next of kin, we were hopeful that you might be able to provide shelter to Genya Shinazugawa until we can find a more permanent housing arrangement for him.”
