“But- if after ten dates you don’t find one man you want to go on a second date with- you let me take you to dinner,”
“And if I win?” She asked.
“I’ll make you food and beverage manager of the entire Wharf,”

Clarissa Cooper is a lot of things- she's a cook, an optimist, and a deserter. When she jumps ship in Seymour's Bay and meets the Belchers, she becomes the newest resident of Ocean Avenue, and eventually catches the eye of the eccentric landlord, Mr. Fischoeder. Fun and chaos ensues as she navigates her attraction to the landlord and a spicy bet that leaves a lot of questions to be answered.
