    There’s a light knock on Henry’s door. “Sir? I have some news,” Shaan calls out.
    “Come in, Shaan,” Henry replies, setting his book down. “Is everything alright? What’s going on?”
    “There’s been a storm,” he says softly, “in Austin. Miss Bankston called because she couldn’t get ahold of Alex, and she wasn’t aware we had already left.”
    Henry swallows thickly. “What kind of storm?”
    “A large tornado.” Shaan hands the tablet over to Henry, a news report on the screen. “Seems to have ripped through parts of Austin. Cell towers are down, nobody has heard from anybody that was at the lake house.”
