Twenty years before the Emersons came to Santa Carla, the Lost Boys staked their master, Max. The city has changed a lot since the bad old days, and with less vampires around there's plenty more entertainment on the boardwalk. Michael is more than just a meal, and Sam's got some weird friends convinced Santa Carla is run by aliens. Nothing is ever going to be normal here.

Summary
Both David and Michael wrestle with the strength of their feelings for the other. David can't seem to let Michael go, and Michael can't put the memory of David to rest. Determined to silence the David in his nightmares, Michael goes to the sunken hotel so as to prove to himself that the vampire is really dead. Only David is far from dead, and far from done with Michael Emerson.

Summary
If David had decided right from the beginning he wasn't too hot on following Max's rules, what might have turned out differently? His agenda would have been very different, too, if Star and Laddie hadn't been brought into the equation. Too bad for the Emersons, it doesn't seem like they'd ever be free from the Lost Boys, no matter what their reasons for meeting might have been.
