“Oh, isn't this enough?” With a sound akin to a purr, Arlecchino’s entire hand splayed over her breast, kneading the minuscule amount of fat there. Furina whined, shaking her head.
“Y—You know what I want! Don't leave me hanging like this…” Cute. The other thought, a smile on their lips while they contemplated.

Summary
…There’s that deep satisfaction of finally having made the right decision; the clear and unconditional promise of having something to protect. To cherish. To adore.
And it's safe to say that none of this should have happened to begin with. Furina should have never allowed her to be the one to open her up like that, the layered ivory hair and dark strands, those carmine crosses that seemed to make an appearance in every situation wherever she went. But maybe they were always meant to burn like this together, forever incandescent.
Or: Furina runs into Arlecchino again. Sometimes that’s all it takes.

Summary
Despite Furina's desperation to leave the last 500 years behind her, she continues to be haunted by them. She becomes a social recluse in all her shame, caging off old friends and coworkers. What makes matters worse is that the Knave keeps sending her apologetic desserts, and with each one, Furina is more sure that the woman is purposely tormenting her. Furina is terrified at first, but as the Knave keeps weaving herself into Furina's life, Furina finds that she might be the only person who doesn't only see her as Fontaine's poor, former Archon.

Arlecchino is a chess master. She's a clever, skilled negotiator, adept at navigating the intricacies of diplomacy, just to get what she wants. She prides herself on being able to read, trick, and fool people... usually. Unfortunately, she's met her match with the teasing brat that is Furina, and it takes all of her self control not to pin her down and screw her brains out across the table.
