Till has only ever played betas. That he’s actually an omega doesn’t matter much: as long as he does his job well and the projects don’t flop, what happens in his pants is frankly nobody’s damn business. This mindset has put him three decades into something of a successful acting career. He’s happy to keep it that way.
And then this young, brazen alpha pup waltzes onto set, still wet behind the ears, stars in his eyes whenever he looks at Till and a scent that’s just on the wrong side of a little too good.

“The stars are falling down,” Ivan says, watching the way the edges of the phosphorescent stickers slowly detach from the ceiling. He reaches up as if to touch them, but the ceiling looms far beyond his reach.
“Stop being so dramatic,” Till says, studying the sheet music in his hands from his position on the floor beside Ivan’s bed. “They’re just glow in the dark stars that we bought when we were 7, you could buy a better pack if you wanted to.”
“I can’t help it,” Ivan says, his eyes sliding over to trace the gentle curve of Till’s neck as he hunches over the papers. “When I like something, I have no room for anything else.”
(Or, a childhood friends AU where Ivan’s spent more than half of his life being in love with his best friend with eyes the color of the sea.)

This is beautiful oh my god. "The first is that the open coloring book in front of him shows a picture of the sky and the beach. The second is that the sky is colored pink instead of blue. The third is that the child’s eyes are a mix of blues and greens and Ivan wonders how this small child had stolen the sea without anyone noticing." MY FAVORITE LINE
