Summary
At the ripe age of 18 you moved to L.A. with a dream and fiery passion. It was impulsive and terrifying, but your heart was set on wiggling your way into the world of the rich and famous. One lucky day moved onto the next, and suddenly you found yourself as the assistant of an A-list celebrity, Mitsuri Kanroji. A year flew by and you were already deep within your own fantasy.
Parties, meetings, runways, red-carpets, drugs, and scandals. Life was crazy and perfect, until tragedy struck your small family. Leaving everything behind in California felt impossible, and undoubtably you left a piece of yourself behind as well. Time moved on as you tried to move on yourself, but you knew there was a part of your heart that you could never gain back.
After uneasily settling back into your old life in your parents home in the quiet Midwest, you get a call from your former boss with an offer that’s hard to refuse. Will you leave everything behind again to rejoin a world that fate tore you away from?
