Summary
Suguru made his choice, left Satoru behind in petty revenge for Satoru surpassing him, and they would never be on equal footing ever again, would only ever be locked in this game of pressing on each other’s bruises and calling it pleasure. Satoru was strong, so he’d debase himself for Suguru, the show of submission his version of love. Suguru was weak, so he’d go along with it, greedy for the chance to hold power over Satoru. He couldn’t decide which was more pitiful.
Two years after Suguru's defection, Satoru shows up on his doorstep.

Summary
Itadori reaches out and grabs his hand. Easy, casual. His fingers are calloused, wrapping almost entirely around the width of Megumi's palm.
"Don't let go, okay?" Itadori says. He has to lean in to be heard, and Megumi's heart does something weird in his chest. "Don't wanna lose you and Kugisaki in the crowd."
Megumi swallows. Turns his hand so that Itadori has a better grip.
"Alright," he says. "I won't let go."

Sanji scowls behind his sunglasses. He’s draped in heat, under an umbrella in a bright patterned shirt, large waffle with a dollop of melting whipped cream and a coffee-stained mug on the table in front of him. Further out on the patio, a whole group of screaming kids jump into the pool in sonorous succession.
“Relaxing is a scam.”
Zoro gives him one of those multilayered grumpy looks.
“It’s fraudulent. We’ve been defrauded.”

Summary
Sukuna grins, his mouth stretched unnaturally wide across his face. “You really thought the King of Curses could be bound by human flesh?” He tips his head upwards, cackling, then throws Megumi aside. Megumi stumbles, falling backwards into the water. He hates that Sukuna is wearing his face, hates how it’s just wrong enough to make his skin crawl.
“I was biding my time,” he explains. “Anyone paying attention could tell the day you snapped was fast approaching, and you made it so easy for me to watch you.” He appears standing over Megumi, cruel glee shining in his expression. “If you’d been able to stay away from that brat, maybe your imminent destruction wouldn’t have been so glaringly obvious. But no. You fell in love with him.”
Megumi swallows thickly.
“Love is a curse, right?” Sukuna leans down, eyes boring into what is left of Megumi’s soul. “And yet, you could never avoid it.”
megumi's soul shatters, and the pieces are full of love.
