As the disappearance of people kept increasing in Mondstadt, the Cavalry Captain, Kaeya Alberich, is assigned to cooperate with the investigation team led by the Chief Alchemist Albedo Kreideprinz, a mute alchemist who joined the Knights of Favonius two years ago and always kept to himself in his lab,
When the corpses of the disappeared people start to appear on the shoreline further from the crime scene, everyone is baffled by the injuries on the corpses, but Albedo remained calm throughout each case, making Kaeya feel suspicious of the Chief Alchemist.
On the night Kaeya has planned to confront the Chief Alchemist in his lab, Kaeya discovers that Albedo isn't what he seems to be. And that Albedo might be the answer behind the cases.
