From what he could remember, he’d really just been trying to walk to his apartment and passed an alley and apparently the people there didn’t like his face. (Definitely didn’t have anything to do with the fact Dyl noticed suspicious cash and suspicious bags and decided the best thing to do was walk up and go: “Hey! Are you guys thinking of committing a crime?”)

Dyl gets kidnapped, mildly concussed, and steals a blanket. All while Jason panics about his best friend being in an abandoned warehouse.

Summary
“I thought maybe it’d keep you busy,” he’d shrugged. Ever since they’d run away, Ryan had been restless. Of course, Naim understood, and was upset about all that had happened too, but Ryan handled his hurt through frustrated pacing or waking up in the middle of the night to stand on the balcony, cold and alone. Naim didn’t know how the entity had been with Ryan, they never really spoke about it much. But there seemed to be a permanent crease between his brows all the time, and only when Naim kissed the frown lines away did he finally relax.
So when Naim happened to scroll past a decently priced guitar online, well he thought why not give it a shot?
OR after Naim and Ryan settled into their city life, they picked up some hobbies <3

Naim regards him like he’s made a fool of himself. “I can’t trust you either,” he volleys. “I wanted to stay away because I know you don’t want to see me, but—” He turns at breakneck speed to look behind him, whimpers, and looks back at Ryan, his face having lost all of its color and gained every shred of urgency Naim can muster.

Summary
Ryan bats the curtain out of their way and follows him in, savoring the way they have to squish their bodies in, their sides fitting against each other. Naim’s thigh bends over Ryan’s knee. One of his lanky arms gets swallowed by Ryan’s chest and bicep. Naim looks similarly thrilled, lips wavering as if he's testing his confidence. He’s still blushing.
“I’ll say it back if you smile real pretty,” he says to Naim’s lips, digging in his pockets for spare coins.
Naim goes still, like he’s too stubborn to give in to the kiss he so obviously wants. “Say please.”

Fingertips coated in wood-dust, Ryan's thumbs slid uselessly across the glass. He squinted against the burst of pain behind his eyes from the sun's reflective glare, swiping his thumb along the bottom of the screen in the general area his muscle memory dictated would give him what he wished. It took a few tries until the call accepted.
"Hello?"
A single ragged sob echoed over the line.
It's been months since either of them have seen the entity.

Summary
Ryan Whelan knew fear. He had only known fear all his life. There was a rot inside him that threatened to spill out and poison everything around him.
Ryan should not be getting this close to a boy as beautiful as Naim Reid. The poisoned rot could not be allowed to taint the only good thing that Ryan had in this lifetime.
Any yet, Ryan wanted.
