    Summary

“I once wrote a ballad about a traveler of worlds who’d been with one woman for every star in the night sky,” said Venti in a low hum. “But when he came to Mondstadt, he saw a sky so beautiful he fell in love with the land and never again thought to leave. I wonder if it was you I’d been singing about the entire time.”

“I-I thought I'd heard your voice before,” said Aether. “I recognized it since the first time.”

    ______

After fighting Dvalin and having his Gnosis stolen, Venti bids farewell to the Traveler under the great oak tree at Windrise, but Aether lingers as he has more to say and none of the words with which to say it properly. When Venti realizes, he decides for once that words aren't always necessary.
