“It’s good though,” Yeonjun smiles weakly at Beomgyu, hoping it comes off reassuring enough. “You shouldn’t be dating anyway.”
Beomgyu’s face shifts in a moment, going lax and expressionless and then his gaze intensifies. His eyes are once again piercing and staring straight into Yeonjun with an unexpected severity he’s only seen on Beomgyu’s face a few times, none of which were directed at him.
“What is that supposed to mean?”
Beomgyu decides to move on from his unrequited crush on Yeonjun but nothing goes to plan.

Soobin turned his head back towards the table. He inhaled deeply. It smelt like sweet, tangy sauces and...something else. Soobin turned his focus to Yeonjun. Another strong inhale. Soobin tilted his head forward. Lily of the Valley. He smiled. "Yeon, you smell-" Soobin slouched forward. In the straightest position he could manage. Which was him leaned all the way forward, his arms dangling between his legs.
"I'm sorry?" Yeonjun raised an eyebrow as he put down his chopsticks.
"Good. Smell good. Let me smell you, hyung." Soobin's eyes glossed over. Almost like when someone's eyes well up with tears. Even in the dim restaurant, Yeonjun could see how red Soobin was. Like when they style the group for a cuter concept and they place blush on the bulb of their cheeks.
"You're drunk." Yeonjun rolled his eyes and went back to picking at the different dishes. Soobin whined. A sharp scent of peaches stabbed straight through Yeonjun. "Control yourself." He mumbled. Louder whine. "Soobin,"
Soobin squinted at Yeonjun. "Just a little sniff. Please, hyung."

As he walked away from the counter, his thoughts were about how the barista called him cute. It was a constant thing between them. Every time he goes back to the café, he is always greeted by that warm smile and praise that sends his heart and mind to frenzy. He felt special.
“Good morning Sir, your tie looks good on you. What is your order?”
He was rooted in his spot as he heard that voice. He looks back at the counter and sees him doing that same thing to the other customers. Oh, so I'm not the only one. So much for thinking I'm special, I guess we’re all the same.
If only he knew what’s going on in the baristas mind, he will most probably take back his words.
