“You really liked it?”
Eddie doesn’t know why he asked that. Of course that isn’t what Buck meant when he said it was a good picture. He was speaking objectively—Eddie is an attractive guy, and he took a good thirst trap. It’s not that Buck personally liked it.
“Yeah, I did.”
Except maybe he did.
Or, Eddie sends a photo to the wrong person.

Summary
“Some of us don’t need lighting to look good,” he spat, immediately defensive.
That got a proper laugh of Eddie. Buck straightened to his full height, chest puffing up like he was preparing to get socked, but Eddie simply rolled his short sleeves up, stepping underneath the overhead light before casually stretching his arms in a way that he knew made them look all tight and veiny. He smiled, full of innocent malice, then flexing once to watch Buck short circuit.
“What, like this?” he asked.
A soft, involuntary noise—something between a yelp and a whimper—drew his attention away from his own arms and when he looked up properly, he was treated to the sight of Buck, wide eyed and rosy cheeked, his pink petal mouth parting to gape at Eddie’s biceps.
Eddie quirked an eyebrow. Up close, he could see the way Buck’s pupils had dilated.
Oh.
So that’s what this was.
Buck hadn’t been trying to compete. He’d been trying to impress Eddie.
S1 Probie Buck, jealous of S8 Eddie's competence, tried to start a one sided rivalry with him. Meanwhile, Eddie thought Buck had a big fat crush on him.

Summary
“Sit on me.”
It’s an insane thing to offer. Logically, Eddie knows this. Nobody in their right mind would do what he’s about to do, but Eddie’s starting to think maybe he isn’t in his right mind.
“Sit on you?”
“On my thighs,” Eddie explains. “That way you, uh. You know. You can touch.”
“Your ass?”
Eddie nods.
A small, wheezy laugh slips past Buck’s lips. “You want me to sit on you and j-jerk off to porn?”
“And touch,” Eddie adds.
Or: Buck wants to hit the town and get laid. Eddie is vehemently against this idea.

Summary
Eddie touches Buck a lot.
It’s a thing they do, has been for years, and it’s not a big deal. Eddie’s an affectionate guy. Side hugs and arm grabs and that move where Eddie steers him through doorways with a hand on his lower back.
All of which Buck has never spent any real time considering because it’s just Eddie, it’s just how he is. Eddie touches people and Buck just happens to be the person standing next to him most of the time, so it’s aimed at him most of the time. Proximity and frequency, that’s all. A coincidence.
They’re close. They always have been. So what?
All that being said, there is one thing Eddie doesn’t do.
Eddie doesn’t kiss Buck.
Or — didn’t. Past tense, until about thirty seconds ago, when Eddie leaned across their table at the diner they’re currently eating at and pressed his mouth to Buck’s cheek like the kiss was just another item on a list of things he was doing that afternoon.
Or,

Summary
When he looks up from his bag he’s not only met with Eddie’s rigid posture but also a sight he needs a minute to even understand.
Remember how he said it couldn’t get any harder?
Buck was so wrong. So very fucking wrong.
“Uhm Eddie?” Buck whispers.
“Yes?”
“Is this glass shower that we are supposed to shower in right next to the bed we are going to sleep in?”
“I believe it is, Buck.”
“Oh.” Buck swallows harshly trying to block out the mental images that are currently trying to invade his brain. He’s definitely losing this battle. Badly.
Or three times Buck showers for Eddie to watch, one time Eddie showers for his and Buck's pleasure, and one time the shower gets steamy for a whole different reason.
